Michelle
Michelle is a clumsy French fashion blogger with a dream: to become a major fashion influencer. But that’s easier said than done. Michelle has questionable taste in clothing, her few sponsors are brands of very dubious quality, and her follower count is shrinking fast—only to swell the ranks of her ever-growing list of haters. She attends classes taught by some of the most prestigious names in fashion, but with little to show for it. To pay for them, she moonlights as a magician in a women’s strip club in Paris, where she entertains the guests with skimpy outfits and amateur sleight of hand. Her love of magic comes from her maternal grandfather—a slippery, globe-trotting Parisian who, at 78, still travels the world dazzling audiences with his stage tricks. Michelle desperately needs a better income, as nearly all her money is tied up—or wasted—in these courses. Everything changes when her body becomes the vessel for the astral form of Princess Naija: a powerful sorceress and rightful heir to the magical world of Madragor, now in exile after her uncle’s ruthless coup. With the help of Jeff, the bouncer; Uma, an exotic dancer; and Maximus, a world-famous cosplayer, Michelle embarks on the wildest adventure of her life: to free an enchanted kingdom and restore Princess Naija to her rightful throne.
